Laytimer Mapping Project Flyer Laytimer Mapping Project Flyer

The Latymer Mapping Project was a local community project run by Latymer Projects and artist Constantine Gras in collaboration with local residents of North Kensington between March 2012 and July 2013. An initial 6 week workshop programme, comprising of group discussions, presentations and walks culminated in an alternative map for the area, exploring a range of issues from unofficial histories, regeneration and gentrification to personal and collective notions of community. On Thursday 13th March we will present our research, methodology and processes and share our experiences of running a community-focused project in North Kensington, as well as reflecting on the response from the local community to the final map.Project website: http://latymermappingproject.wordpress.com/
