Brent Artists’ Resource is an art-based organisation based in the Gallery at Willesden Green in the Willesden Green Library Centre. We have a membership made up of practicing artists and those interested in the arts. The organisation has a large group of keen and committed members and volunteers.
We run a rolling programme of exhibitions in a purpose-built gallery within the Library Centre. The Library Centre is ideally located off the Willesden High Road, near close transport links and attracts on average 65,000 people a month.
Exhibitions are a mixture of community open shows and shows by invited artists that cover a wide range of artistic practice. Other activities include art workshops, artists residence programmes, a peer-group, training and development of members, mentoring of artists, dealing with interested members of the public, involvement in key community events such as Black History Month, Brent Respect Festival and other artist-focused projects such as Emerge.
The Gallery, The Wall and the Cabinet are for hire.
